This is another painting I've been working on for the Rural Life Reflections project I am doing.  Shelby graciously agreed to let me photograph her on my last visit to the Hood River Valley a week ago as she was cutting lavender and assembling bouquets.  The place is so gorgeous!!  The business is called Hood River Lavender--rows of lavender with Mt. Hood as a backdrop!  It can't get much better than that!  Visit their website to see the wonderful products they make and sell.

Lovely painting and composition! I can't wait to see more in this series. I will go and check out the website, I know it must be incredible.

Beautiful painting of our gal, Shelby! We look forward to being a part of this documentary project. Thanks for coming out to visit our lavender farm.
