I had to work on illustrations today, so rather than post those, I thought I'd post a sketch that my husband, Gary Vincent, did today of a creek in the forest. I love his work. I love the strength and boldness and the spontaneity and freedom of his sketchbook drawings.

My husband, Gary Vincent, paints beautifully bold and expressively. This is a recent example of his work. Gary generally uses the landscapes that capture his eye and builds on the information he gets from looking at them. His paintings go from an expressive realism to abstract and are very bold and strong.
