This painting is from a visit to Vancouver, BC, at Queen Elizabeth Park. There was something about her stance that was so beautiful to me--the simplicity and the confidence of it. This was supposed to be yesterday's painting, but I didn't have time to finish it! To be able to do so this morning, and to be able to paint at all are among the things I am very grateful for on this day!
