Well, it's hard to think of titles for all these little paintings!! Anyway, I loved working with these colors and the challenge of lightening them up--how to not overuse white in the mix and deaden them, but yet get the value I want without making them a more intense hue???

Every year at this time I think of trips to California and seeing oranges on trees! Coming from snowy country, that's a big thing. Not only SEEING the oranges, but coming back to Oregon with big bags of them. What an amazing creation they are!
