There is a group here in Bend working on developing a local currency and they have asked five artists to create a piece reflective of Bend that will go on the back of the bills. Each of us have very different styles. I am painting a scene from our Summer Festival. I did a small version of this a couple of years ago and it's always interesting to me to revisit a subject after a long time and to see how I do it now. I've been working all day on this, working with color schemes and the composition. Can't say that I am that thrilled with the results!! That said, I do like this figure! We'll see what happens tomorrow!
