This little painting is a commission for a dear friend. I love the image, though, and think I may paint a large version of it. There a so many subtleties that I couldn't put in because of the size of this one.

Vicki, These horses are just wonderful! The small size of this piece did NOT take away from the expressiveness of these wonderful animals! I just HAD to leave you this sunshine on my blog today...No worries if you are swamped with life...just had to at least send some folks your way!!
I like the expressions of the horses and the feeling of a rosy dawn. I think this would be a great "big" painting.
