I went back to the painting I worked on yesterday and it feels good to bring it to a finish. Sometimes I feel like I just get too wound up in a painting trying to figure it all out to be sure I "get it right!". This morning I woke up with the thought--just paint it!! Let it be what it will be!

It's frustrating and disheartening when you know you can paint well but you just aren't hitting it.
It does push us forward though.
Your paintings say a lot. Nice one.
