I took a bunch of photos one night downtown, not really knowing how anything would turn out. I was really intrigued with the yellow cast of light that showed in the pictures, so decided to try painting it. Also, most of the figures in the photos are blurred because of the movement (mine and theirs!), and that, too, intrigues me. I want to play with this subject as I have time and explore the colors and the idea of letting the figures blur out. There's an excitement in this subject for me!

Of course there is excitement in this painting because it is awesome! I love the way you reflected the light of the street lamp. Wonderful!
