I didn't finish this in time to get a photo before the good light left for the day yesterday. It isone of those paintings that I'm not sure what I need to do to it to "fix"it. I had a hard time finding colors--mainly on the light and shadow areas of the sidewalk. There were rich blue-purples and golds in my reference photo, but they just didn't work.

I really like the warm tones against the cool ones in this version Vicki. You really captured some character in the women! Very nice.

Thanks, Jeffrey! I hadn't looked at these paintings for a couple of days and am struck by the warm and cool tones, too. I left for the weekend prefering the second painting and came back appreciating what you have pointed out!
