When I was painting this morning, I really noticed how intuitive the painting process is--or can be. It's like my brain checks out to a degree and something kicks in that chooses colors and decides where to put them! Of course, it's not always like that, but when it is, I have to marvel at the whole thing. What a wonderful thing we get to do!

Hi Vicki, love your paintings, the fresh, colourful atmosphere is utterly entrancing. But I had to giggle at your thoughts today. It happens to me, the intuitive thing and not often enough for my liking, you can see the difference in the work! I agree it is truly amazing.

Hi Vicki,
Love everything about this one! And I agree that it is interesting how our right brain takes over when we paint, and the left sort of takes a nap.
wishing you all the best with your big project.
