This really IS graphite and the paper is WHITE!! I am having such a hard time photographing pencil drawings, not sure why. Anyway, I was inspired by the fun I had doing the drawing I did last week that I decided to do some more. Also, though, I am looking forward to doing a painting of this subject--there's beautiful back-lighting to work with.
