Well, this has been an interesting experience!! I am staying at a friend's condo in Portland, OR and decided to try a painting of the view from one of her windows. What a challenge! I have a new respect for people who paint these kinds of subjects! It's been a fairy cloudy day so I was glad when the sun came out and there was some contrast to work with. I can see that it would be good to repeat the experience, but most likely with a different view. We'll see about that!
