"Helping With the Ribbon" (sold)

Whew!! Finished! This is one of those paintings that I was SO excited about because I love the image so much, and, experienced the equivalent anxiety of whether or not I would be able to paint it! I like it. I am very pleased. It was a learning experience as I mentioned in my last post--all those whites!

I think you should hang on to this one for a really long time. It is wonderful and it is one of those paintings that has so much feeling and tenderness. Thanks for sharing!

It's wonderful. I can totally identify with those apprehensions about making a piece, especially after the initial excitement about the project wears off a bit.

For me, that's when the hard work really begins.

I'm so glad it turned out for you the way you'd envisioned it. That's a great accomplishment for any artist!
